MRY is seeking a team of motivated and creative rising college seniors to be a part of our paid, 7-week Summer 2017 internship program. Working in a team-based environment, you’ll be fully immersed in MRY’s day-to-day and contribute to the success of some of the world’s leading brands. The Summer Interns program includes various learning series, a summer-long team project, formal development assessments, social events and much more. Each Summer Intern will be assigned to a particular department, where they will contribute and collaborate within for the duration of the program. Positions are available in Client Services, Creative Services, Strategy and Community Management.
Consider yourself a people person? Then the Account team is for you. Account people are the liaison between the client and the creative team to ensure the client’s needs and goals are being met on every project. Intern candidates should have a strong interest in marketing, social media, public relations and event planning. The ideal candidate has as strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and a can-do attitude.
The MRY Creative team—Art Directors, Copywriters, Producers, Designers, Artists—are responsible for brainstorming, concepting and collaborating on overall campaign ideas. Intern candidates should have awareness of design trends and an interest in graphic design, video editing, art directing or copywriting. Candidates interested in graphic design or art directing should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products. The ideal candidates have a creative brain mixed with a love of fast-emerging technologies and platforms.
Do your friends tell you that you’re constantly overthinking things? Try the Strategy department on for size. The Strategy team is responsible for driving client strategy for prospective, new and existing clients. Intern candidates should be passionate, innovative thinkers who can assist both Strategists and Analysts, and connect social/digital media to client business. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fun, fast paced environment and has an entrepreneurial spirit.
Part brand advocate, part psychologist and part analyst, MRY’s Community Managers have their fingers on the pulse of any brand-community dialogue. As a Community Manager, interns will understand how to leverage social media channels, plan strategic content, share insights, and provide guidance to MRY’s clients. The ideal candidate usually falls asleep by the glowing light of their phone, mid-scroll.
