WOMMA Wine Wednesday:
The Word of Mouth Marketing Association is the official trade association dedicated to word of mouth and social media marketing. WOMMA Wine Wednesday events are hosted across the country, and for Social Media Week, New York, they are hosting it with MRY. The #SMWNYC Wine-Wednesday event has been sold out for weeks, so we hope to see you there!

The event occurs in four popcorn and beer-powered rounds, with each panelist nominating a bad social media campaigns or blunder and the crowd commenting and voting on those nominations.

If the questions don’t get you, the quizmaster will; Baratunde Thurston, former digital editor of The Onion, and author of the bestselling book “How to Be Black” is also a reputed stand up comedian.

Our Chief Distribution Officer, Jeff Melton, will be on a panel discussing the state of Real-Time vs. Predictive Marketing in 2014. This discussion, targeted at marketers, will examine the state of real-time marketing in 2014–where the trend is now after bursting into the social media scene in 2013– and MRY’s new approach on Predictive Marketing, utilizing earned media planning to know consumers better than they know themselves.
